When I visit my dad in NC, there's a very small population of "fox squirrels" - black with white noses and pointy ears - that send me into a tizzy. We were overrun with them at Michigan State University. Don't have any where I live (only about 45 min - 1 hour away), but they're not uncommon in the region.
